"The hotel was lovely, in a great location. The food in the restaurant was absolutely spectacular; one of the best meals I've had in years. Some of the decor in the hotel is a bit dated, there didn't appear to be spare pillows, and we had a separate loo with no sink, so you had to go around to the main bathroom to wash your hands. Apart from these two issues, would have given five stars."

"Absolutely perfect for an overnight stay en route north/south. Basic hotel, clean, reasonably comfortable, adequate restaurant, close to motorway and supermarket nearby for cheaper fuel, definitely not a luxury stay though . Animals not allowed - pity!"

"Terrible service Was told that they had twin rooms so I booked the hotel. Only when we got there no twin rooms and no other rooms available. Had to book another hotel at extra cost 6 miles away at £200 Hotel is a rip off. Other hotels in the area are full of prostitution was told by the front desk. Horrible find another"
