"Mixed.At all times remind yourself that this is a 3* hotel! When you squint your eyes, the setting fools you into thinking you're at a far fancier establishment. This messes with your expectations. Positive first- The island is beautiful. The views are spectacular. Breakfast is good. Boat to Rovinj is regular and on time. Negative - 1. Accessibility is poor. Lift doesn't stop at the lobby. 2. Rooms are large and clean - but old. Peeling paint, broken fittings and 1980's furnishings all show...

"Loved our stay at the hotel. Service was excellent. Clean, modern room. It is within walking distance to restaurants and the Old Town. Convenient parking. We had a GPS in the car to help find the hotel. Not easy to find street names. Check in and out is not at the hotel so make sure you are able to call Avora management at their number. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. 😊"

Clean apartment, every day asked if we need clean towels or any hygienic supplies. Cost for food in local store and in restaurants is reasonable . Very clean Nice views over the salt flats and (a bit more distant) the sea, if you book a sea view room About 10 minutes out of Piran Great breakfast, they even had English tea and Earl Grey tea, the first hotel in a week to have those. Light, airy, spacious and colourful. Friendly and helpful staff - made eggs to order. "

The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the wellness area with the sauna with the most incredible view - not to be missed. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choice and catering to all sorts of dietary requirements. My only negatives…our room was rather small and felt in need of renovation.
