"After travelling for 8 hours we arrived at 6pm exhausted & hungry. The receptionist informed us that the restaurant & bar were closed for the evening as the 'chef was on holiday' & the nearest place to eat was a drive away. We will not be staying at Campanile again."

When we pulled down the window curtain, we had the unpleasant surprise of discovering a cemetery of squished flies stuck onto it - see pictures. The bathroom also did not smell very good. Definitely not recommended. "It is a scam. I received confirmation email the day of my rental claiming i was expected there, but when i showed up I could not reach the landlord. I had to book another facility and spent 2 hours trying to solve the situation with expedia /vrbo ... "

"The hotel staff was amazingly helpful and kind. Our room was an "outside" room meaning it was not within the perimeter of the main hotel. Bed was very comfortable. On street parking availability was very challenging. To access the pool you have to pay an additional 20 euro per person which was a bit of a surprise."

Breakfast, a selection of fresh fruits, fresh croissants, juice, yogurt, and coffee or tea. The views stunning! peaceful. My mattress dropped a bit from over use. We arrived in early Oct. so most business had shut down from the Fall. One restaurant was open for lunch and the castle wasn’t to open until Nov again. But lots of walking in nature...
