"After travelling for hours on New Year's day, I just wanted somewhere to rest my head after a long drive. Arriving at midnight, a key code is required for check in (which is supposed to be sent via email, but wasn't). Long story short 20 minutes standing in the dark and cold, managed to get checked in. "This hotel is grand for an airport stay and a typical Ibis but the receptionist when we arrived was one of the rudest and most unhelpful I have met in 20 years of travel. I enquired about the airport transfer which I was told after several attempts was €25, left only hourly and I would need to book 24 hours in advance which at check in after 4pm, is highly improbable if not impossible for most. The receptionist was so arrogant and impersonal about the whole exchange I got fed up even trying...
