"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. "Horrendous 2 hour sleep. Room stank of cigarette smoke on arrival via the air conditioning system. It smelled damp and of cigarettes due to the cold air pumped from elsewhere in the building. Sink didn’t drain. Hair came UP out of the plug when you ran the tap water. Trains and noise from station broadcasts carried directly to the room as no protection from it. "Cleanliness is ok, hotel is a bit aged. BE CAREFUL of the hotel staff. On one of the days they told us it was not possible to get a taxi but they would arrange us one ..... 15 minutes later a illegal taxi turned up arranged by the hotel staff. We where taken to our destination in a old unsafe car, then charged double the amount !!!"
