"The hotel itself was nice in a very modern way but bar service was somewhat lacking with the sole person running the place disappearing for long periods leaving us with empty glasses and eventually giving up waiting for further drinks, both in the afternoon after arrival and later in the evening after eating."

We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. "It was nice to have a pool for the kids. But it is really dark. The staff is really nice and friendly. But for the price the hotel needs to update. "Decent hotel for the price. It was for pensioners. Surprised that there was no A/C. It wasn't too bad the night we were there. The bed was too soft. "A lovely, dog friendly place to stay with beautiful walks from the hotel. The only thing that would make the room a little more comfortable would be a fan as it was a rather warm.
