The room was in a separate building (which was advertised) and it took us almost an hour from the moment we came to reception until we got to the room, including figuring out our way around the parking, and getting luggage to the room. "I rented a 4 room apt at this location and was completely satisfied. Very clean except the shower had some mold.Kitchen had dishes and utensles for 4 people,including a cheese grater and corkscrew. "The best part about this hotel were the staff members. From housekeeping to the front desk, they were accommodating, helpful, kind, and pleasant. They helped us out of several transportation jams that we found ourselves in. We wouldn’t have made it to our events or back to the train station without their help which they offered freely."

"I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. "The hotel itself is not too bad, acceptable I`d say but the staff is the worst I have ever seen. The absolute lack of education and customer service is astonishing, to the point that they don`t answer your salute or aren`t able to indicate where the room is. "Beautiful view from front terrace of hillside area and castle. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious and hotel restaurant serves delicious meal at very reasonable prices. Original plan was an overnight stopover en route but we extended our stay to 3 days. Highly recommended."

"It's a 3-star hotel with many 4-star features. A bit out of the way if you want to tour Parma. Also, somewhere it says the hotel is attached to a shopping center. I am not sure where I read this, but it is not true. It is free-standing with no shopping center in sight. Overall, very comfortable, many modern features, and great value. Good breakfast, too."

"We were there for just one night. Easy parking underground the hotel but you have to go and ask the desk staff to open the gate. We had an amazing view of the countryside from our balcony so make sure you ask for that view. Host was very kind. The hotel is a little older and has basic amenities. The morning breakfast was amazing! "
