"The hotel was having some decoration work doing to it whilst on our visit. The work was contained, but we were welcomed by a lady who was using the hoover and didn’t stop and made us feel in the way! Breakfast: good New TV delivered one day in our room & woke us up as it was programmed with an alarm at midnight! Annoying ! We spoke to room service and the front desk 4 times over 2 days as our air conditioning stopped working. They kept saying they had fixed it & they hadn’t, also annoying....

The rooms however are quite old and need renovation, bed was really old and uncomfortable, bath room also old. You can almost feel the old times in the corridors... "Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

Wie schon erwähnt, ist das Haus sehr modern auf allen Etagen, im Zimmer und Restaurant. Die Eigentümer empfingen uns sehr herzlich und machten immer uns gegenüber einen entspannten Eindruck. Es wurde auch jeden Morgen ein reichhaltiges und abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet geboten. Ebenso ist die Küche zum Abendessen sehr zu empfehlen. Es war reichhaltig, sehr schmackhaft...
