"Took it for granted there would be a lift as it was a tall building and I was on the second floor - up two flights of stairs. Apparently it is a listed building so no lift will ever be built. Shame all single rooms on ground floor had been taken. Didn’t use the bistro as it was fully booked until 9 and I couldn’t wait. Room was a very small single but it didn’t bother me too much and I slept well. I’m not keen on self serve breakfast but it was nice enough and staff pleasant. The highlight was...

"The property was easy to find in a quiet residential area a short drive from the local amenities. The room we stayed in was very clean and nicley decorated but on the small side. Breakfast was served on a tray in the room which consisted of a slection of items, the multi pack pastry and the coffee could of been better. It was awkward to sort the breakfast in a cramped space and we ended up sat on the bed eating it which wasn't a great experience. I'm glad we were only booked in for one night as...

"Had a lovely stay at Gairloch Highland Lodge. Received a warm welcome from Michael who allowed us to check in early. View from our room was gorgeous. Overlooked Gairloch Harbour. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Gairloch. "
