"The room i was in was reasonably nice. Dated decor, but clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, however hardly spoke any English, so it was tricky getting checked in and out. Breakfast was poor. The sausages and eggs were cold (I did get a bit of an upset stomach on my third day, however not sure if this was because of the breakfast or something else I ate outside the hotel) and the bread was hard. They have also a nice Wellness area (Sauna), Food is very good (we took the local Cold plate for dinner). There is a room which can be locked for bycicles. Friendly staff ! Nearby are Castle Heldburg and nice bike Trails along the former border patrol ways. "

Alles in allem stimmte Preis/Leistung. Was die Hygiene betraf, eine kritische Anmerkung: nie sah ich in einem Hotel einen mit solch großen Flecken übersäten Teppich."

"Gebucht für eine Nacht an einem Wochenende um ein Langlauf zu machen. Angedacht war ein Komfort-Apartment, wobei ich den Zusatz KOMFORT komplett vermisst habe. Spartanisch, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und eher einfach trifft es korrekt. Hervorragendes Frühstück sollte man allerdings positiv erwähnen!"
