"We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small. The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze. There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. "We had a great experience staying at the hotel which was a perfect base for a few days exploring the area. Hotel set on top of mountain with great views, and facilities including lovely gardens and plants, an infinity pool and great restaurant with outstanding service. Paid a bit more for a larger room with a balcony. Excellent restaurant and menu with cookery and tea demonstrations. Delicious breakfasts and dinners supervised by chef Ram and attentive team of dedicated and helpful servers."

"Overall, the property was very nice and good value. Just a couple of maintenance related issues such as the balcony door was misaligned and was not easy to lock. The bathroom door was squeaky and the bright air conditioning light would not turn off with the remote. I also strongly recommend the management to consider putting some contrast strips on stairs. Just make it easier for people with low vision to navigate. Overall, the property is very nice comfortable, staff is very nice and friendly....

"A fantastic spot from which to explore the Kerala backwaters. The hotel organised a half-day Sikkara boat tour and for the remainder of our (too short) stay we relaxed by the pool and dined on the beach. Recommended!"

"Beach was beautiful- World Class! The room was perfect- great size. Food was excellent with good variety for all. Pool was fun and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area. Recommend guests to go out on the beach first light to see the fishing boats come in."
