"The hotel was comfortable and convenient, with friendly, helpful staff. My only disappointment was that the hotel was actually closed when we arrived at mid afternoon. I understood that check in was not until 4:30, but I wasn’t prepared for the hotel to actually be locked!"

"We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The staff were wonderful, patient and helpful. The jazz music night for dinner was a lovely evening. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a short stay."

"The pictures and description of this place online do not do it justice. We had no idea to expect that we'd drive a rough cobblestone road up the mountain to stay the night in a fairy tale castle, complete with a tower and a truly BREATHTAKING view of the countryside from our tall French windows which opened up to admit a fragrant breeze. "Pretty hotel in a nice location but the rooms are budget and the noise in the morning unnaceptable. Squeezing a few more rooms in the basement under the kitchen was not appreciated. 5:30 staff movements on a Saturday while on vacation mean we would t use again. Not recommended for a quiet stay. "

"Notre réservation par Hotels.com n’avait pas été correctement enregistrée. Heureusement, il restait des chalets disponibles… dans la partie prévue pour les hôtes d’un jour, donc : stationnement loin du chalet. Pas de 4G (ni de wifi, of course). Piscine fermée 4 jours avant la date prévue. Par contre: accueil sympa, excellent couchage et chalet très propre."

Check in time however was wrong, for once we got to our hotel early and the owner had a note on the door asking guests to return at 5.30 so 2 hours to wait in a very small village rather than rest and refresh. Room lovely but a solid rather than see through door to the toilet would stop the light flooding the room if your partner goes to the loo."
