The views are stunning and the weather and temperature very comfortable however higher elevation = greater UV and greater chances of sunburn. The Aves Arosa home base is ver clean and walkable from the train station and bus station. Note that the bus is actually a van and therefore limited in passenger and luggage capacity. "Loved our stay at Seehof Arosa! Short walk from the station but slopes involved. There is a shuttle in the morning that can be arranged from the hotel to the train station. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room is older style with physical key, toilet a little dated but nothing bad. We had a comfortable stay and the view from the room balcony was absolutely stunning!! Only hiccup was hotel asking us to pay upon checkout when we made prepayment to hotels.com already so there was delay sorting it...

"Considering that this is a budget hotel, Silvia, Marek and the entire team provided us with a maximum of attention and helped with nearly everything: extra breakfast wishes, flexible sauna hours, extra towels, adapter for the power outlets, activity and dinner planning, all was no problem and they made us feel welcome. A big plus was also, that we could walk to the ski slopes in less than 5 minutes - no need of bus or car. "

"We rented a beautiful apartment with separate bedroom. It was beautiful & right in the middle of town. The only issue is parking. The hotel has recently been sold & our check in was at a hotel across the street but we were not notified of this. No signs at the former reception as to checkin procedure. The parking must be reserved in advance. Overall the apartment was wonderful, the town is lovely, high end shopping & best of all end of the season lack of crowds."
