"A lovely Bach to hang out in as we attended a family wedding. An easy walk to the Mangawhai town and shops, and lovely board walk along the estuary. No view but peaceful, and a lovely neighbour who helped us out with a torch during a power cut and loaned us her ironing board."

It’s the wonderful hosts Graeme and Lisa that complete an all together wonderful stay. Ahuru Lodge has been created with every travellers detail in mind see the cinema….Our breakfast was excellent and so spoilt with Lisa’s coffee! The only negative is that we had to head back home. Can’t wait for the next visit. "

"A gem of a find. The chalets are gorgeous. Beautifully appointed with lovely bathroom products, the towels are divine and the king sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and the kitchen is sensational. We loved it here. You can either cook in the kitchen or a short walk to a vast array of foody options"
