"We stay here overnight en route to Italy as it is convenient being just off of the main road. We have done the same now for 15 years, and have always stayed at this property. It is starting to look a little tired and dated from the outside nowadays, but the rooms are still clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and good shower facilities. "Unfortunately the bathroom needed a shower screen or curtain over the bath. There was no soap etc, not good after Covid. There was no bottled water in the room. The bed was very hard. However, the hotel has a lovely ambience, unchanged for many years of our visiting. "

"If you want to go back in time to the 1980's then this is for you. Nice enough staff, but the hotel is in desperate need of a refit. Plastic covered dining tables just topped it off. Brought back memories of Butlins as a kid in the 80's. We've done a trip from the UK, through Belgium and Germany. This is the most expensive hotel we've stopped in, but definitely the worst. My advice, find somewhere else to stay"

"Very nice hotel in driving proximity to the old historical center. Supermarket, pharmacy, hair salons, restaurants, and walking/biking trails adjacent to hotel. Rooms were well lit, comfortable beds, renovated bathrooms, balcony area. Check-in and check-out simple. Good breakfast option. For improvement - Pool should be heated for travelers in the fall months. at time of visit pool sports accessories were dated and not looked after. Yurt-shaped sauna can also be renovated and made operational...

"Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "

"My wife and I chose this hotel as a stop on our tour of the Route du Vin in Alsace. Although the hotel was adequate there are much better accommodations available in the area at a far better price. We were disappointed to learn shortly after checking in, that the restaurant on site was not an option. They offered only a menu that seems more geared toward groups that are staying at the hotel. We travelled to Ribeauville for dinner, and wished we had stayed there instead."
