"My family enjoyed very much staying in this hotel. Hotel was very cozy. The location is very excellent, in the heart of the town that was very beautiful and historical rich town. People were very nice and helpful. They would try their best to help out when you need special needs. "

"Reserved an economy room. The window only looked upon a ventilation shaft. And the room smelled a bit musty. For €10 more I switch to a room with a view and it was a whole lot better. I recommend an economy room with a view. It is worth the little bit more. "

"I do not think I have ever had such awful and rude service in my life! Check-in ends SUPER early (8:30 pm) such a very inconvenience if you are coming from the Madrid train station very late at night. Apart from being more than 1 hour away from what it feels civilization is, rides can be costly (almost 100€). Very hard to get around this little town because it feels isolated from other places. If you are looking just to get away in the mountains in a peaceful, quiet place I would recommend it....

"Perfect location - right next to the cathedral and 2 minutes from the plaza mayor. No humans, though, no receipt for payment, bit difficult to figure out registration. Wonderful beds and very quiet. Would stay there again. "

"We stayed at a double bed room which is apart from the main building.The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. But the room smelled like an ash tray. The smell lingered at our luggage for days after checking out. Bathroom was very small. Hot water ran out before filling up the small bathtub. Heater was powerful, but the floor kept freezing cold. "It is a wonderful experience to stay here. The villas are part of the city walls. I cannot complain about communication as I don’t speak any Portuguese. The welcome is friendly and warn. The villas have kitchenette and large fridge and coffee makers. The bed is comfortable and quiet at night. The gentle sound of an occasional vehicle travelling across the cobblestone outside the room is pleasant. Parking is sufficient for 10€\night. Very Close to attractions and cafes and plaza mayor. "

"The hotel locates at a far away from the address we got from the Expedia, and without clear direction after the address. We spent 10 minutes to drive back and forward in the area before we could find the right direction. There were a live music show that night started at 11:00 pm. And we were waked up because of noises on the hallway at 4:30 am. There were a lot of people talking and running load, and the sounds of door opens and closes."
