"It's a small room, but comfortable. I slept well. The refrigerator doesn't properly work. I turned it to its coldest setting and still it would not freeze my Esky bottles. In fact the surrounds of the freezer part had melted water on it this morning, not frozen. The bathroom could do with somewhere to put things. There is room beside the shower for a small table."

"We stayed here because we went to a concert for Hanging Rock and it was convenient. The free shuttle was particularly handy! The staff were really friendly, beautiful surroundings, nice enough foyer/restaurant. Breakfast consisted of a nice variety of hot and cold selections (albeit the 'hot' food was lukewarm). However the room was in serious need of an upgrade and a complete rip off for how much it cost. Firstly it was dark and dingy, with a poor attempt at a freshen up of what was once brick....

"Loved the peaceful bush setting. The bed was very comfortable. However some block out curtains would be nice and an actual proper wood fire. We really didn’t like the pellet fire that was there. Basically just like an electric heater that blows hot air at your face."
