"The guesthouse is located in an 80 year old historic building that is on the side of town where locals live and shop. It's a short walk from the bus terminal, San Ignacio market, Cahal Pech, Green Iguana Conservation, and other touristic sites. Max is a great host who sent us a lot of local recommendations from sightseeing places to restaurants. "Very beautiful view and setting. Service was excellent. The whole hotel was always very clean. The only thing that we didn’t enjoy was the bed. It was a little soft for us but we like firm mattresses. "

"This was our first hotel on a two week trip around Belize. We stayed at 6 other hotels/cabanas over our whirlwind tour of this great country. We waited until the end to make sure, but this was our favorite resort of all that we stayed. The cabin we stayed in (Hibiscus), was well appointed. The staff did a phenomenal job - they made up the extra bed in the room when we arrived and ironed the sheets as they made the bed. The daily towel animals were a nice touch too! The infinity pool was clean...

"The familt thst run the property are not the owners. Very nice family however we did not get the room that we booked. We were told we had to have the basic room rsther than the superior room we chose as thw owner had not setup the Expedia system corectly. Hence the price we paid was only for the basic room. They need to sort this out as would have stayed elsewhere had we known. "
