"I booked the 2 queen bed rm for 2 days. The room was clean, had a fresh paint smell in it.There is a sign @ the front desk explaining hotel is under construction. The heat in my room worked great up to 80*. My one complaint for my room was the top lock was bent & broken which made me feel a little uneasy @ night.The beds are very comfortabl! "Hilton Garden Inn Merrillville is a well kept secret. We had a spacious lobby that our group could gather in, quite comfortable and inviting. Although this Hilton does not offer a complementary breakfast they do offer a hot breakfast and microwave and snack options. You will find comfortable beds and a nice , clean bathroom. "
