"We had a fantastic stay, amazing value food.. £11 for three courses and the breakfast was great. great staff, comfy beds and a warm room.. The bathroom needed attention in certain areas. No hairdryer in the room but reception did get me one.. there was no shower gel or shampoo in the room and reception couldn’t provide any so had to use the hand soap. There wasn’t enough refreshments for four people.. only 2 tea bags, 2 milks and biscuits but after asking were happy to supply more. Would stay...

"I really enjoyed my stay here. I was travelling for business so had little time for site seeing but the area was beautiful. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was amazing. Clearly run by someone who wants to provide excellent service. If I visit the area again this is the first hotel I will try to book. "

Then as we were going to microwave our food the microwave had mouldy food inside of it. "We booked this pub/hotel for a two night stay due to going to a wedding at Hallington Mill a venue approximately 15mins drive away. Arriving on a Friday afternoon we received a lovely friendly welcome and had a evening meal on our first night. We stayed in room 7 a fantastic large bathroom which look brand new. Every member of staff we had dealings with very friendly and helpful. "
