The meals were varied of you chose to eat and the breakfast has an extensive menu to suit all tastes and dietry requirements we were impressed with the choice. "Average hotel with a great access to a pool, steam room & sauna. Good bar with a good selection of drinks. Room was nice enough with a jacuzzi bath but the bed was too soft for me. Cobwebs in room, corridors & restaurant. Breakfast was ok but basic. It wasn’t expensive so fine for what we paid. It could do with a good clean and a lick of paint. "

"Had a two night stay here. Room was clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities all available in the room. Had a couple of problems-light switch not working and the plug in the sink got stuck. Mentioned them and they were sorted very quickly. The restaurant across the way was great for breakfast and dinner. All in all a great stay!"

"Bestwood Lodge is a very old building in need of investment but for me that’s part of its charm. On the run up to my function I felt there was a bit of casualness around arraignments however on the night everything was spot on the staff were brilliant from the manager down the buffet food was spot on the venue DJ (Kes) was absolutely brilliant my accomadation was spot on. All in all my experience was very good and I would definitely use Bestwood Lodge again. "
