"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "Felt very welcome from the start. Our room was clean, We had dinner which was very good and the menu was quite large . Breakfast was included and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted to swap from the menu. We have stayed here before and nothing has changed. The owners and staff could not do enough for us. Highly recommend. Hope to return soon . "

"A great place for an overnight stay whilst exploring the elan valley. Clean and comfortable bed plenty of hot water. A lovely evening meal at a good price. Being a lovely sunny weekend the pub was busy and there was a little noise outside but nothing that stopped you sleeping "
