"Very friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms although small are clean and comfortable. The pool is also smaller than we thought but the outdoor area is nice and well kept. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening. The menu is limited but the food is very good. There is ample free parking. I'm not sure it rates as a three star hotel as there are no fridges or kettles in the rooms. "We had a lovely stay. We were taking a bike trip and were shown a secure place to lock our bikes. We also had a wonderful meal at the hotel restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those cycling in the area."

The shower head had to be hand held as the bracket attaching it to the vertical rail was loose and so the shower slipped down. The bed was hard.
