"The hotel is located in a,slightly industrial area, however do not let this put you off as there are bars and restaurants around and in the hotel which are really good. The room service was excellent for the duration of my stay and John's service in the hotel bar was 10/10. He was really knowledgeable and friendly and his drinks were really good. All in all if i was returning to the south of France in would definitely use this hotel again. "

"The hotel has a great location and it has rooms facing the main Plaza. However, we did not get a room facing the main plaza and I was a little disappointed so I think if you want to book in this hotel, make sure you get the room specified before you purchase, but the location is great "

"The hotel and room were very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was fairly standard but if you travel alot you understand the convenience of breakfast in the hotel even if it isn’t spectacular. The hotel is located on a street that seems quite deserted after 7pm BUT if you walk just three blocks you will find plenty of restaurants and stores along the port. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Aix @ des Augustins. The location was excellent - right off Cours Mirabeau and a wonderful little square with restaurants and pubs. A little rocky start as the room with terrace I booked (via description and pictures) did not exist. I’m not sure if this was an error on Expedia or hotel description of rooms; but, I was disappointed upon arrival. We were given the deluxe room that I booked, but no terrace, just windows. I was offered the comfort room with a terrace...

"Excellent location if you wish to be near the railway station. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. When walking into our room it smelt wonderful, it was a really lovely aroma , we loved it. The bed was very comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. One small problem for my husband who has mobility issues was the toilet was very low ( minor issue ). We arrived around two ish and the lady on reception at that time said our room would not be ready before 3 o,clock."
