The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over."

Secure parking was a bonus. Obviously if you spend more you will get better but it was just an overnight stop whilst travelling."

"Location of the property in a forest and its setting is good. The room was spacious and well fitted out - it had been refurbished since we last stayed in it. We were made very welcome. Our only comment would be the menu was a bit limited. "

We were staying in a cottage next to the mill which was 1970s concrete and furnished very basically. I have seen more luxurious student accommodation. The dinner was ambitious but truly awful. I had melon with champagne followed by pork mignon. The first course tasted rather soapy, the second had a thick sweet sauce. We didn’t pay 12 euros for pudding, feeling...
