The walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the hallway, but somehow the (very small) rooms seemed quiet when inside - so a false sense of privacy. There's nothing really wrong with this accomodation, and I appreciated the check in process literally just being that you receive a message with your door code and entering in a blank code behind you when...

"This was a cute little hotel. More like a guest house over a restaurant. The room was lovely and the bathroom decent and clean. There is a shared kitchenette and small lounge area on each floor for guests. The guesthouse is above a cute restaurant with delicious food, and in the main area of Akureyri, so it was very walkable to other restaurants and shops. Parking was easy across the street from the hotel as well and staff were friendly and efficient. "
