"We chose the hotel for its convenient location for all the places we wished to visit during our weeks holiday. We knew it was a rural hotel but despite this our first impressions were 'where is everybody?' and 'where on earth are we?' quickly followed by 'what a beautifully kept place?' Once settled in we were treated very kindly by all the staff and felt really at home. To begin with we seemed to be the only residential guests but after a few days we were joined by a largish party of school...
