"Wow. This hotel is amazing. Great location to night market ( will still need scooter or transit to explore other areas) amazing staff , super comfortable beds with food pillows, hot shower with amazing water pressure. We loved the gym ( bananas were a nice touch) and the pool area to hang out in the afternoons. Over all one of the best places we stayed in Thailand. "

"A true to form Melia hotel. Staff was very kind, room was very stunning with great views. The hotel is well situated to key items especially the sunday night market which was amazing. The tom yum soup from room service was absolutely amazing, probably one of the best ive ever had. Staff can be a little slow on responding to requests. We had to ask twice for laundry bags. The bathroom had a very unkind smell which we reported, i believe the cleaner came when we stepped out but the smell did not...

"The hotel was in a very good location and well appointed. The only grievance I have is that the sound-proofing of the rooms was bad. Our room faced heavy traffic and we could hear traffic through the night. The hotel even supplied ear-plugs which shows they are aware of the road noise. They should focus on sound-proofing the rooms rather than providing ear plugs which many guests are uncomfortable using."

"Nice place and in a great location. Hard for taxi's to get down the street but its only a few meter walk. Breakfast is basic but good. The tour companies they use are a little strickt but use the online companies and its all good."

"It’s a very comfortable property rooms are clean and spacious, we chose the option with breakfast included, the breakfast is amazing. You literally don’t have to have any lunch with that kind of a breakfast.. service could improve a little bit, front desk people not so communicative. Overall, a great experience."

"Great location and friendly, helpful staff. We selected this hotel on Expedia because they listed themselves as welcoming service animals, and they were true to their word. My wife is blind and uses a guide dog for mobility. Despite a disability-accessibility law, most hotels, restaurants and stores in Thailand do not comply with the law. "I really liked this place. The pics on expedia are gorgeous. However, it has not been maintained to retain its original glory. Its in old part of town, there isnt much around it. I guess that's why the hotel is not doing well. "

"Excellent, safe, convenient little oasis in the heart of the old city. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The room had everything we needed and plenty of space. Loved overlooking the quiet, treed pool area. Good breakfast (don’t know about the other meals, but the restaurant was full. Good for families because of the pool area - but it was guilt and restful for any guests."

"This is a large / mega hotel. Opposite to some of the smaller boutiques. Looks like it was built in the 80s with heavy wood furniture, carpeted rooms very large bath. It is generous for space but bed runs on the small side. Mattresses had a slope from wear. Very unfriendly electrical system with rigid switches (very late 1970s design). A lovely place to stay

"Arrived late on a Tuesday and things were dark and office unmanned but soon sorted by the manager. We awoke to find the darkness was hiding a hidden delight literally 400m from the bustling 108 road. A lovely tranquil setting, comfortable suites, extremely friendly staff with wonderful food make this a lovely place to come outside the hurly burly of downtown Chiang Mai. Airport about 45 minutes drive away. Great for all the attractions in the south like Mae Weng, Doi Inthanon and others."

"The property is beautiful. Room was nice but dark with only 2 windows. Staff very pleasant. Expedia site incorrect on services. No made to order breakfast. The 1st 2 days was a buffet and I am vegan so I had toast, fruit and coffee then had plain rice or french fries for dinner. No tour services or info. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, dogs barking and roosters crowing all times of day. The close proximity to mae klang waterfall made for a nice walk and great place to have lunch along the riverfront. "
