"The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were clean and of a good size (family room). The sofa bed was acceptable for a child but Iess so for an adult, as expected. The breakfast was very good, plenty of options in the buffet and one of the staff even offered to make fresh pancakes for the kids, which was very well received. The bowling alley was a great entertainment as well. The small playground with the Årjäng troll just outside the hotell was really nice as well. All the staff were...

"Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."
