"Probably the worse hotel we ve ever stayed in .And we have stayed in Talavera 10 times.Rooms were tiny like cupboards,bathroom was filthy,bedroom window looked onto disused part of hotel that was abandoned, had bath and bathroom flooded,more like prison than a hotel .needs bulldozing..the lobby was the nicest bit and that looked like something from the 70s. all in all really awful."

"The room was very small, no room for luggage. The bed basically took up the entire room. The bathroom also was tight. Hardly enough room to sit on the toilet. "We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. "The hotel was perfect for a quiet stay in winter in Sierra de Gredos. The room was more than I expected for the price and I love the beautiful, antique style of the hotel and the amazing views. My one *small* concern is that I had to depart at 9:30- reception and breakfast were supposed to start at 9, and there was seemingly nobody at the hotel. I left my key by the front desk, but a coffee before I left would have been nice! "
