"We stayed here for a night as it is well-placed for a visit to George Sand's house at Nohant. This is a traditional French country hotel although we were allocated a room in the modern extension across the road. Good and secure parking. Friendly reception. "We used the hotel as we have family who live in the village. Due to ill health they could not put us up so the hotel was very convenient.We were made very welcome at all times and the service was excellent.It has a reputation for gourmand food and the dinner we had during our stay was very good."
