We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash. "

"The information from the hotel about my late arrival was very clear and helpful. The staff at breakfast and checkout very friendly. The facilities do need an overhaul, the hotel is clearly outdated and needs a facelift. My room was facing the street and it was too noisy to sleep with the window open. It was warm and there was a quaint odor in the room, which made it difficult to sleep with the window closed."

"In a beautiful location just a short drive from Trier. We had a triple room with the single bed in a separate room from the double bed which is extremely rare in a triple room. Everything in the room was top notch - comfortable beds, spacious, excellent shower room. Breakfast and dinner were both very good and it was great to eat dinner on the terrace next to the water wheel. "

"This is a 2 star hotel, not the 3.5 star listed on Expedia. The pictures look great but inside it is a motel. The site says free breakfast but there is nothing and the staff look confused that I asked about it. It is being renovated and there are lights out all over including the stairs which make it very dangerous. Stay away. "

We had to wait a while at the front desk, because the lady was outside and didn’t hear the bell ring multiple times. Didn’t like that the door was a key. So if there’s more than one person staying and someone left and the other stayed, the other was locked in basically. "We had very good rest and enjoyed the one night stay. Two storey apartment with two bathrooms fits very well for our family. Very comfortable. However you will need a car to reach the hotel. Price is not very cheap, but we redeemed a bonus night from hotels.com. Overall was very good. "
