"The hotel was fine; as to be expected of a hotel in this chain. It was just outside the center of Trier, so we had to walk a little bit for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a small problem with the heating system in our room and the young lady in the reception offered us an electric heater which was really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Cleaner was also very lovely and friendly lady. The hotel is located very close to the airport which is a great advantage for those travelling with planes. "

"It wasn’t nosy for us, but our neighbors from upstairs where complaining that we where to nosy, but we just chit chatting… Verry nice place to stay, good look appartement and not dirty. Good beds to sleep. "

"Overall, an excellent experience. The La Sapiniere had a real apartment feel to it and I could easily see my family and I staying here again. The apartment is well stocked with just about everything that a guest might need to include dishes, toiletries, bedding/linens, cleaning products, and vacuum. "Stayed a couple of nights whilst touring with our dog. Dogs were very welcome. Great area for walking and hiking. Room was large and very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Would stay again if in the area. "

"I'll start by saying that I'm not a comfortable complainer. I also don't like to leave generally negative reviews, but I can only speak as I find. I've spent a month touring Europe alone on my motorbike so I've spent a lot of time (and money) on various styles of hotels with varying price brackets. "This was a wonderful place to stay in the “Little Switzerland “ area of Luxembourg. Easy access to a lot of great hikes. The restaurant was very good. I want to commend the staff for their care after I took a fall on a hike. They searched for bandages and were genuinely concerned for my well being. Throughly recommend this hotel. "

"Location of hotel could not be better for those coming to Luxembourg on a car for a day trip. We left our car in the parking and took a bus to centre (bus stops are about a minute walk away). Room was clean and well serviced. Would recommend!"

Friendly and Welcoming

"Small and friendly Appart-Hotel. When we arrived, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a larger room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was really nice and had a lot of things you would need to make meals. The coffee machine was also a welcomed sight. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep until the church opposite woke us up at 7am. Thankfully we had set our alarm for then anyway! The hotel is next to a fairly busy road, so if you keep the windows open then you may require earbuds. There is a bus right outside the hotel, so you could easily travel into the city from there. There is a beautiful chateau and garden (which is free) a few minutes drive away. "
