"Amazing, going home and thinking how soon can I get back here? A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "

"The resort is in a corner of paradise and the tree house was spectacular. The resort is quite tired and requires some updating but not too spoil the ambiance of the resort. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant food was ok. Beautiful beach and location for watching sun rise. Easy walks either side of the resort to other bars and restaurants. "

"This was a perfect island get away. The staff was exceptional. The owners were involved. More like a family affair with a wonderful community feel. Over the Holidays they organized games in the restaurant to include everyone (I was solo and never felt left out). I even had a medical issue and the owner and a local pulled me aside and gave me some excellent and very timely information that saved me from some real problems. I extended my stay even longer, which was lucky as they were booked out...

"The beach was very rough due to the storms and not one of the nicest beaches on Koh Rong. I wish the resort had a gym. The restaurant was great. The food was reasonably priced and very good. A very clean small pool on the property. The resort staff was very warm, gracious and helpful. Plenty of warm water (hot showers) and the premise was very clean. "

"Buildings are old with little upkeep. Trash being stored behind pool and volleyball area behind mesh wall. Breakfast food is the same every day and boring. Food is not warm. Air conditioner leaked water. Sheer curtain in room 188 torn and old. Company needs to reinvest money to maintain and upgrade rooms. "This was an incredible hotel and it was luxury staying in one of the luxury tents. The tents had everything you needed and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff, everyone was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. The beach was beautiful and I'd highly recommend getting a scooter and visiting the other beaches - especially Sok San! 10/10 stay. "

My wife almost broke her ankle walking from the Tuk Tuk to the hotel which is not even safe for a donkey, no lights on the so-called pathway many loose rocks and pot holes, which makes it a safety concern for those walking from the road to the resort. There is just one accommodation in the Island: Nomads Land. All around just the ocean and and small islands with few fisherman. Now that a new highway have been build is getting easier to get to this part of Cambodia. Still the people that get there are not many yet and the Island feels like an untouched paradise.

Beautiful Resort steps away from best swimming
