"Property was lovely. Room was clean and modern. Shortbread, water and various teas and coffees available in room. Owners very friendly. Hot tub was a great perk. Breakfast was also excellent. Fresh fruit, cereals and cooked all available. Lovely home made jams to buy too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"We had a lovely stay at The Albany Hotel where we stayed while we visited St. Andrew’s University with my daughter. It was super convenient with feee parking right in front of the hotel. The room was very charming and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely return. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"We were visiting my daughter in Freuchie and stayed in this hotel. It is a charming hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me including organising a taxi. The restaurant is not up and running yet but you can get a lovely continental breakfast and tea/coffee and lovely fresh cakes, We will definitely be returning to this hotel next time we visit Greuchie. "Stayed here to go an ice hockey game. First time in Fife and staying in the Elbow Room. Amazing location for the Ice Hockey and lovely friendly staff. Room was clean and had no issues. Breakfast available 24 hours which was great. Will definitely stay again as place was full of character. "

"The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to."
