"This wonderful hotel is an oasis in amongst other residential and hotels. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The fabulous breakfast served to our table overlooking the sea was divine, served until 11.30am, perfect! Lovely swimming pool in the garden. Snacks and drinks etc served to the pool or on the beach. "We stayed at Villa Elia for one week in August 2022. It is a lovely, quiet place with a large, well maintained garden/park, swimming pool, tennis court and it is only under 10 min walk from the nearest beach. Our apartment was a separate little house, with private outdoor sitting space, surrounded by banana trees and flowers. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I was very annoyed that the lift didn't work - and we had to lug all suitcases up several flights of stairs. "The hotel building was beautifully finished as well as the rooms, the air conditioning was an unexpected bonus. Views weren't great from our room but we were in the old town so wasn't expectant in this regard, the hotel setting however was lovely. Water temperature control wasn't great, but a minor point."
