"I thought the concept was very nice but the property has a hollowness or emptiness to it. In its day it would probably have been considered a luxury resort but now its showing a little wear and tear. Many of the staff do not speak English so it makes it difficult to communicate. The staff could do with a very good course in handling tourists. The manager is fantastic and needs to pass this along to his staff. Having 4 safari jeeps or Gypsies on the property was very helpful. "The design of this hotel is imaginative but unfortunately it has become rather neglected. Despite some attention from staff, the swimming pool was unusable, having murky water and floating insects. The grounds were uncared for. We were given a cottage in the grounds which had no similarity to the photos advertised. The dinners were very good and the chef takes a real interest in producing tasty food. The manager was very helpful."
