"Such welcoming staff! The room was huge, the bed very comfortable and the shower offered tons of hot water with lots of pressure. The breakfast was incredible - eggs, toast, yogurt, fruit platter and a big pot of coffee - all complimentary. Nice quiet area. "

The area around the hotel has seen better days but there are plenty of options within walking distance if you are doing the tourist things. "A very average motel-like place a couple of blocks off the beach in Negombo. Room smell reminded me of 5th grade boys' rest room deodorizer. Did not strike me as a nice or interesting area. Would suffice for a base, but I suspect you can do better. "

"Positives are that it's in a great central location near the Red Mosque and restaurants and a great price. The staff was really friendly and helpful as well and helped me arrange airport transportation. Negatives are that the internet didn't work the day I was there, the room A/C was set to 32 degrees and I couldn't adjust it, and the room and hotel itself seemed a little run down and creepy. I didn't mind too much since I was there for just a night before my flight home, though. Would recommend...
