But for now (and reviews dating back to 2009 confirm this), the hotel is an unappealing construction site--noisy, dusty, ugly. "This is an amazing gem. Located up on the hillside overlooking a beautiful lake. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet. The terrace was big, and would be awesome in the summer. "Really good breakfast, nice swimming pool (smallish) with surrounding decking & chairs, loungers and hammock. Hotel is in 2 parts, divided by a fairly quiet road. We didn't know this, although were aware that we had selected a standard room, not one of the more prestigious ones. Our room was ok, although pretty basic, and we did have a lake view, but it always feels a bit disjointed staying in the annex. Also annex had no lift, and we had lots of luggage. Great location, good parking."
