"Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to...

"Hotel room was sparse and utilitarian. It is not a room for comfort. The bed and pillow was very comfortable. Shower room large and good power. Mood lighting controlled by a remote control. Tea coffee facilities in room. No bathrobe provided although this is a spa facility. Towels in room can be used for spa but they are not bath sized. Breakfast was continental style and ok but not a large selection. Evening restaurant food was lovely and cooked beautifully. Spa was excellent and the reason...

"Great staff, very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Comfy bed, nice pool. As I like milky coffee more milk would have made the stay perfect. I did ask for and was given 2 more but I needed many more. Breakfast was great..Thank you for a great stay."

"5 stars because for the price I got what I wanted (shower was clean with great temperature and solid water pressure, bed was clean), which, again, was all I was concerned with You can nitpick issues with the rooms if you really want to, but you're not looking at renting a room here because you want the best of the best, right? You just want something cheaper that you can stay in for a night or two, and this fulfilled that role nicely."

"I did find the room, although clean, one of the most uncomfortable I have had. Pillow was horrible and the bedding not much better. Could really use a little modernisation but most of all, lose the pillows for better ones, horrible nights sleep."
