"The place was very tired and the cleanliness could be improved. I found a the stalk from a buch of grapes by the side of the bed which i was surprised was missed if the floors had supposedly been hoovered!? The ajoining restaurant/pub was good. Great service and food was good (not great but value for money). The maon thing for me was the convenient parking."

"Although we enjoyed staying at the hotel it is important to realise that there is no on site parking, it seems there is normally street parking 50 metres up the road, not sure how it easy it would be to park "in season". Also you need to be aware that the rooms are up a steep flight of stairs, totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. "Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep.
