"Short break in Munich for Oktoberfest. Hotel in great location across from subway station (15 minutes from Oktoberfest) and multiple amenities / shops in surrounding area to eat. Beds not the comfiest having relatively thin mattresses but ok for the 3 nights we stayed there. En-suite bathroom spacious and well equipped. Communal areas ok, good bar service and friendly staff. Interesting deep red colour scheme in the hallways (very retro). Our room faced the road so quite a bit of traffic early...

"There was a small issue with the twin beds. We were given a room where the twins bed were connected side by side to each other. We were able to exchange the room right away and get a twin room where the beds were completely separated from each other. The bathroom was small, but very clean with excellent water pressure. When I went down to the front desk to ask for help, the woman was extremely rude and dismissive. She said that because the hotel was fully booked, that’s probably why the internet wasn’t working and I would have to deal with it. When the Internet did finally work, they have strict parental controls on the WiFi. I was trying to watch YouTube podcast and then tried Netflix...
