The gem of the location is the first floor of the main lodge, which features several large living room spaces with fireplaces. "Stowe is firmly implanted in my brain as an amazing place to visit, and the Timberholm plays a big part of this. Just a few minutes drive outside of the town centre, it's easily accessible and yet far away enough that it feels secluded and peaceful. "The property is old and quirky which we enjoyed. There is lovely scenery and enjoyable walks on the doorstep. Food in the restaurant was good although options were limited as it was the last evening before a seasonal closure."
