"B&B Hotel Gent Centrum is as the name suggests very central and therefore close to many of the attractions of Ghent. Price was really reasonable and the breakfast is €15 per day and worth it (but might be cheaper if booked beforehand). No issues with quietness or comfort. One problem though - the shower head was leaking and therefore had very weak flow."

"The staff went above and beyond to fullfil all my needs. The temperature in the room was rather cold (very cold weather outside) and I couldn't figure out how the air con works. The receptionist listened to me carefully and then then sent someone to only adjust the temperature in the room but left an additional heating unit in my room should if I need it. the only reason I gave 4 starts for comfort was the noise from outside. The location is central and I had a wonderful view from my room. It was just a bit loud. Maybe should have brought earplugs. Apart from that, both receptionists I had the pleasure of talking to were extremely welcoming, nice and polite. Really appreciate it, thank you! :)"

"I originally had a different hotel booked but changed to this one at the last minute since it was closer to the city center and I read another review saying how it was very close to a parking garage. It ended up being ideally located, especially its proximity to the parking garage. The exit door from the garage is literally across the street (literally a few steps since it isn't a wide street) from the entrance to the hotel! The hotel room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, there was a kitchenette in the room, and it was close enough to walk around the city. If you just need a place to sleep, this is just fine. It's clean, comfortable, and affordable. If you do plan on driving, be aware that the hotel is located in a "low emissions zone" so the vehicle you drive must comply or you can be fined. Google "low emissions zone" and Ghent to fully understand what this means if you plan to drive! I would definitely stay here again."

"We arrived a bit after 10pm, when the staff closes the desk and access to the property. We called from the entryway and were given access via a code we entered into a lockbox right there. The place was clean, and everything worked fine. The furniture could be more comfortable and the space would feel more welcoming with some interesting art on the walls and perhaps a rug, but sleeping was great, even in the cot where my 23yo rested very well, and there was enough room for us 3 to spread out and enjoy each other."

"Lovely property, nicely decorated. Clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a standard quadruple room. Plenty of room, nice clean bathroom. Good breakfast choice, loved the pastries and the fruit was very nice. Near to the castle. Was very happy."

"We had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. The rooms are smallish but you get everything you need, although maybe an in room kettle would be useful. The shower was always warm and a good pressure on the water. The bed was very comfortable. Our room (239) was on the second floor towards the rear of the hotel so was a very quiet room. The food at breakfast was really nice and plenty of it, so felt good value. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is a great location for exploring Ghent being a 5 minute or so walk from the Cathedral, Belfry etc. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, it was a very enjoyable stay."

"Staff is extremely friendly. Though they don’t have a bar on premise, the hotel is located right next to the main cathedral and is a 5 min walk to the night life area. But it’s off a side street that isn’t noisy. Room is a little small but it’s fine for me "
