"Very well proportioned room and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately restaurant was closed other than for breakfast but it is very central to loads of cafes/restaurants and I enjoyed the walk along the canal to get Sunday lunch. Very pleasant stay and very quiet at night. "

"It was a bit shabby but very comfortable. A hole in the bathroom plaster and wallpaper should have been rectified.I thought breakfast could have been included in the price but the bar prices were very good. An enjoyable stay."

"Occasionally you unearth a diamond and despite its name Tumbleweed is the brightest of diamonds!! Fabulous welcome and shown around the room with explanation on dinner ( if required) and breakfast order. Rooms are very well equipped and decorated to a very high standard- amazingly comfortable bed with high quality simba mattress. The tea and coffee tray is accompanied by biscuits chocolate and small fruit juices - lovely touch ! I really enjoyed staying here and without doubt will be returning-...
