"Staff were friendly and helpful, there was luggage storage available. The hotel is in a really convenient central location a short walk from City hall. The bathroom was a little tired in places but overall the room was clean and comfortable."

"Very friendly staff. Close to city centre and Queens University. Good breakfast. Hotel clean. Shower was in the room which might be an issue if travelling with friends not family. Toilet light was automatic and stayed on for ages, also switched on randomly in middle of the night. Air con switches off after a relatively short amount of time (to conserve energy) so we often were woken up in the middle of the night in a boiling hot room."

"The Ballymac is a lovely hotel in a quiet, rural location. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm though, even when I tried to turn down the heater. The staff were very polite and attentive. However, they were absent at times at the reception. Not a huge issue except if you need to speak to someone about getting a table at the restaurant for instance. The food in the restaurant was quite exceptional and prices were fair.
