My neighbor, who apparently also worked there yelled at me in the parking lot while I was in the process of taking care of and paying for the process. He said some things that were hurtful, but I paid my dues. I probably didn't clean up after myself enough so I have to apologize to the staff for that. "We stayed for one night during our anniversary weekend and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Our dinners were unique to the restaurant and really delicious. The staff were all wonderful and welcoming, the room was clean and had what we needed. The history of the hotel is neat so if you like staying in places with a little history to it, this is definitely the place. "

"Amazing find! What a unique accommodation. Rustic but refined with all the amenities of home but with peace, quiet and nature. Enjoyed exploring the grounds and hiking trails and even came across a porcupine. Would definitely stay here again. Probably the best accommodation in the whole area. I can’t imagine coming to deep creek and staying in a boring condo or lake house. Looking forward to checking out every cabin on the property! 5 stars all the way."

"The house has a very homey feel to it. It feels like you're staying at your grandparents' house. We loved the hot tub and made good use of it. The heat worked real well. A couple notes/ suggestions. Ad needs to be changed about what is provided. Ad says no toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods or trash bags. But all those items were actually proved in the welcome basket, so I needlessly packed them. I was pleasantly surprised that although not provided, other tenants...
