"Hotel was charming with a unique decor - staff very accommodating and friendly. View wonderful and a homey feel with the two dogs that were present. Only concern was that air conditioner was working to full potential in the room I stayed in for one night. I would highly recommend the De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon , Thailand."

"Huge modern hotel with large rooms for 680 baht. Strong WiFi (each room has its own router) and friendly staff. Wide choice for breakfast. As a vegetarian I was able to have toast, fried eggs and fresh fruit. Everything else had meat or meat products. Location is very central. Bear in mind the walls in the hotel are super thin. There was ‘adult activity’ going on next door day and night, and I could hear everything. Which wasn’t great."

"The location of this hotel is ideal if wanting to travel to or from Chumphon train station (you can also book bus and boat tickets near the station), however, the hotel doesn't have much else going for it. It is a large, old fashioned, grubby hotel that looks like it hasn't been looked after since the 80's. The halls reminded us of the prison cells you see in the movies! "I love the fact that parking in beside the bungalow. We got two bungalows as traveling with family and pet in one car so it was nice to park the car between the two bungalows and have our door face each other. The breakfast in the morning is delivered to the bungalow was a nice treat. Area to walk the dog and sitting area outside."
