"Excellent place to stay! The staff there was excellent! Although we had a bit of a language problem (my German is rusty and the staff did not speak much English) Our stay was wonderful. Great place to stay if you are heading to Herrenchiemsee or Frueninsel (I recommend both!). The cost was lower than staying in Prien. Parking in Gstadt was a short walk to the ferry. "I booked this hotel because it was convenient for a stopover between Italy and Munich airport. I am very happy with my choice. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant serves excellent dishes and is very popular with locals. My room was on the second floor and there is no lift,but as didn't have much baggage it wasn't a problem.
