"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Des Etrangers - a small unique boutique hotel. The staff are excellent - friendly, helpful, and personable. The daily breakfast is superb. The hotel is located amongst a vibrant restaurant/bar/ shopping area and within walking distance to the local ferry and attractions. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for a stay. Noise from other venues in the evenings can be an issue but it did not concern us. "

"I loved feeling like I was staying in a large beautiful home rather than the traditional impersonal large American style hotel. The staff was so pleasant and because I had a puppy and kitten with me, went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are nice but not 5 star. The shower stall was not perfect.
